Company Background

Foundation

In Melbourne in 1987, with a single truck, Brian Harper founded Region Peak Transport. A reputation for reliability, service, and professionalism saw the business grow quickly, and in just a few short years the business expanded to include integrated linehaul, storage and distribution services.

Evolution

Today, nearly thirty years later, Region Peak boasts a fleet of 25 company-owned linehaul vehicles, 35 b-double trailer combinations and 30 local distribution vehicles servicing Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. The Region Peak workforce has grown to over 55 linehaul and local drivers, supported by a management, administration and warehousing team of 20. Region Peak has storage facilities in four strategic locations across Australia to provide integrated distribution solutions to a broad network of clients. Region Peak will be celebrating a milestone 30 years in business in 2017. We will continue to invest in our team, fleet and facilities, looking to the future success of Region Peak, and our business partners.

Specialisation

Region Peak provide specialist transport services for sensitive, complex or fragile freight, including, food, overlength, packaging, industrial and some hazardous products, FMCG, General Merchandise, to name but a few. Region Peak’s end-to-end professionalism and reliability, across administration, management, warehousing and distribution of all freight has seen our customer profile expand. Current clients include many blue chip brands from the food, packaging, manufacturing, engineering and building industries.

Through his commitment, persistence and a “can do” attitude, Brian has built Region Peak into the success it is today. Having travelled almost 6 million kilometers across Australia, Brian’s experience and industry professionalism are at the core of Region Peak’s business. Brian’s natural leadership and dedication have built Region Peak to a fleet of over 50 vehicles, and he continues to work directly our industry partners, to meet and exceed their expectations.

Dona Harper

Manager.

With over 15 years’ experience in management and logistics, across some of Australia’s largest privately owned transportation carriers, Dona’s knowledge, skill and professionalism have supported the continued growth of Region Peak.

Dona’s core focus is the implementation and compliance of robust internal structures, relating to legislative “duty of care” and “chain of responsibility”, and demonstrates Region Peak’s commitment to professionalism, integrity and accountability.

Adrian Chandler

Operations Manager, NSW.

In his career spanning over 20 years in transport and logistics, Adrian has developed an extensive industry knowledge, and an impressive industry network. Adrian’s professionalism and dedication make him well equipped to manage the daily receive/dispatch operations of our Sydney Depot, and oversee operations in the competitive New South Wales environment. Our business partners are able to depend upon Adrian’s experience and knowledge, as he ensures all company service levels are continually upheld.

Graeme McCarthy

Actively involved within the transport and Logistics Industry for over 30 years, Graeme provides a dimension leading the Queensland operation, that perfectly complements the existing business structure, leading and developing a small, but robust, willing and versatile team that delivers on our company promise, and continues to build relationships that our competitors would be envious of.

Graeme believes his years of experience in the local market, and his penchant for “the personal touch” that cannot be offered by the multi-nationals, or some of the big names in the industry, gives Region Peak another competitive edge in an environment that, historically, has been less than favourable to many operators.

Region Peak’s distinctive pink, white and grey vehicles can be seen on highways linking Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Our fleet of over 50 linehaul, truck and trailer, and local distribution vehicles, provides flexibility and ensures the safe and efficient movement of goods across metropolitan and regional areas. Region Peak’s efficient and cost effective distribution solutions rely on having the right equipment matched to meet each of our client’s unique service requirements.

Up-to-date

The Region Peak fleet consists of 23 company-owned linehaul vehicles, 35 trailer combinations and 28 local distribution vehicles. Region Peak is committed to improving service and delivery standards, and minimising our environmental impact. The Region Peak fleet is continually updated to meet federal government emission standards and strict specifications.

Powerful Partnerships

Region Peak has developed long term partnerships with a number of premium truck and mechanical businesses, including Vawdrey, Double D – Tyre Right and Iveco. This provides us access to parts and service, ensures a simple mishap never stops Region Peak from delivering on our promises.

In-House Servicing

All Region Peak vehicles and equipment are serviced and maintained at our Head Office and Depot in Somerton, Victoria. The success of our fleet is backed by our team of highly trained and experienced in-house mechanics and tyre technicians. Our well maintained and reliable fleet ensures we are always delivering.
